Ryan's practice focuses on all aspects of family law including divorce, paternity, child custody and support, as well as pre and post-nuptial agreements. Ryan is a lifelong resident of Northville, and is married with two children.
She regularly appears in both Circuit and District Courts throughout Michigan and is licensed to practice in the State of Michigan, State of Arizona, and Federal Eastern District of Michigan. Ryan is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan, State Bar of Arizona, Family Law Section of the State Bar, Women's Bar Association of Oakland County WLAM Representative, Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, Main Street Lawyers and Junior League of Birmingham.
Ryan received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating cum laude. While at UDM, Ryan was actively involved in national Moot Court competitions. A recipient of the Dean's Honor Society and Murray Feldman Scholarships, Ryan earned the highest grade in her class in Family Law, Civil Procedure, Federal Income Taxation and Civil Law.
Ryan recently authored an article for the American Bar Association's 101 Practice Series entitled "Wrapping Up the Divorce Case". Ryan has been selected on multiple occasions to "Michigan Rising Stars" by Super Lawyers Magazine. No more than 2.5 percent of young Michigan attorneys are named in the Rising Stars list. Most recently, Ryan was selected by Detroit Business Magazine as one of the Top Lawyers in Michigan.
Ryan also serves on the Family Law Advisory Board and Young Lawyers Advisory Board for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). In 2012 she received a Certificate of Completion from the Family Law Certificate Program, cosponsored by ICLE and the Family Law section of the Michigan State Bar.
